FRIENDS
Becoming a Friend of the Corn Hall is a major way in which you can help us financially. We will have to generate well over £100,000 a year to make the Corn Hall an imaginative and thriving arts centre – and this does not include the envisaged capital expenditure to improve the building. Grants are going to be hard to come by in the current financial climate and we are unlikely to generate this level of income from box office receipts or the use of the Hall by local groups; so if you believe that the Corn Hall should could be an important feature in the life of Diss – please support us by becoming a Friend – and there are of course benefits!
Join the Mailing List for £5 pa – and receive our seasonal mailings
Become a Friend for just £15 until March 2010 (after that £25 a year and under 25s £15)
- receive priority booking for each new season at the Corn Hall and ensure you are able to get tickets for the most popular events
- get £1.50 off tickets at all other performances and £1 off most films
- advance mailing of each quarterly programme
Become a Good Friend for £100 pa or a Very Good Friend for £250 pa
- becoming a Good Friend, whether as an individual or corporate Friend, means that you are becoming a major financial supporter and you really want the Corn Hall to succeed
- we don’t pretend to offer commensurate benefits but we do offer 1 free ticket to each performance to Good Friends and 2 free tickets for Very Good Friends (except films) and £1.50 off tickets at all other performances
- all Good Friends will be listed on our website, in our seasonal mailings and Very Good Friends will be listed on a plaque in the Corn Hall.
Loans might make all the difference
Cash flow is going to be vital as Grants will go towards improvement of the Corn Hall. Running costs will have to be covered by our activities and loans would help hugely in the early years.
- If you are becoming a Friend, consider making a loan over the next 4 years. The loan would be repaid annually over the period of the loan, but you might consider donating the repayment instead of having it refunded
- For instance, if you became a Good Friend and loaned another £400, you would be repaid £100 at the end of each year – or you may decide to gift this.
We urgently need your help to raise funds so we can apply for the match funding which will enable us to realise the exciting regeneration plans and guarantee the future of the Corn Hall.
