Exciting news! - Tuesday 15th May 2012
We have exciting news reagarding the next phase of the Arts Award at Diss Corn Hall!
One of our brilliant advisers Sue Best is helping to launch a new multi media project this week. With Matt Harrison, who took the Stop Motion animation workshop in March,we are going to collect stories from the residents of Diss about what its like to live here as well as any interesting tales they would like to tell us. With this we will make a script with the help of resident theatre company The Keeper's Daughter. This will then either be turned into a live action story and acted out or turned into animation. How will this be achieved I hear you ask. Well, a big model will be made of Diss (not to scale) which we will use to navigate the film to its different scenes, some live action and some animated.
To do this we need YOUR help! We need film makers, aniimaters, actors, writers, model makers....there is so much to do!
Want to take part? Then come to a meeting this Wednesday the 16th of May at 3.45pm.
This project is NOT just for people who want to do Arts Award, it is for ANY young person who wants to get involved with the arts.
So tell your friends and come along! We look forward to seeing you...

Seventh Ideas Workshop - Thursday 8th March 2012
This week we had a look at the new photography exhibition - thumbs up all round! Molly demonstrated a cool teamwork drama game to us all for her Part D, and Angela, the Corn Hall Manager, came and joined in the fun with games chatting to some of the students about their portfolios.
